Mapping

Before starting to design, I use surveying equipment to create a measured map of your property, a bird's eye view of the site, which accurately depicts the important built and natural features in the landscape. Like a measured plan of a building, this map is the basis for the development of all new design ideas and solutions.

Site Analysis and Design Development

I then analyze all aspects of the project - your requests, site conditions, historic and cultural factors, etc. - and develop several alternative plans that contain various solutions and recommendations. Plans are accompanied by a written summary of the benefits and drawbacks of the different options.
